Purpose of the Club

The purpose of the Diesel RV Club is to serve all Family Motor Coach Association members with an interest in diesel powered motorhomes and coaches – whether Type A, B or C – in how to maintain them, how to get maximum performance, and how to keep repair costs to a minimum. The Chapter will host rallies which combine social and technical programs for the purpose of:

  • Exchanging information on how to keep diesel coach repair costs to a minimum, how to maintain them and how to get maximum performance,

  • Helping promote diesel engines in all RV Types and help our fellow RVrs,

  • Providing opportunities for fun and fellowship, and

  • Supporting FMCA activities such as rallies and engagement at international conventions

Anyone is eligible to visit one of our events as a guest prior to joining. We look forward to making your acquaintance.

Technical Forum

Diesel RV Club operates a technical discussion forum that is an integral part of the Club.

Go to Diesel RV Club Forum in New Windowhttp://forum.dieselrvclub.org

The Forum can be accessed from both desktop and laptop computers as well as mobile devices. The Forum is for FMCA members and non-members alike since the topics addressed are common to all coach owners. Since non-FMCA members participate in the Forum, a separate login is required.

Navigating the website and finding information has never been easier. From the Technical Forum "Home Page" you can click on the "Forum" tab - it will provide access to:

  • All technical documents as well as discussions (all in one, well-organized place); Subject-specific organization - if you have a question about your cooling system, for example, you do not have to wade through 50 posts on other topics to find what you are looking for.
  • An ability to edit your own post - no more links that don't work and can't be corrected.
  • Enhanced ability to post photos.

There is no cost to participate in the Technical Forum. Since membership in the Diesel RV Club is not required in order to participate in the Forum, a separate registration is required. Stated differently, even though a Diesel RV Club member has registered for the Club's website, the member will also have to register for the discussion forum as well.

To go to the forum click on Forum in the menu bar above.

RV Service Reviews

Here are a couple of ways to help your fellow RVrs and to thank those RV repair facilities that have done a great job for you and at the same time warn others about places that have not. The first is the Family Motor Coach Association's RV Marketplace http://familymotorcoachrvmarketplace.com/.  A new feature is the option to provide feedback on services.

The second is RV Service Review. This site also contains actual reviews of RV service facilities made by the RV owner's themselves.

You can research where to take your RV for service and what establishments you should avoid.

Open Paralyzed Vets of America in New Window     Veterans Day 2013

America’s paralyzed veterans have sacrificed so much to protect our country and preserve our freedoms. They have been selected as our 2013 Charity to participate in the 50 / 50 drawing at the Wyoming Western Adventure. Click on th above link to support this great organization.

Your support will help them provide rehabilitation and health services, job training, family support, and funding for research working toward better treatments for spinal cord injury and dysfunction and, ultimately, a cure.

However you choose to support Paralyzed Veterans of America, your help will make a real difference in our heroes’ lives. Thank you for it.
